The Storage Basket
This storage basket will find a place in a drawer, or on a piece of furniture. You can use it to store small toys, make-up, spools of thread (like me), or anything else you like!
This kind of basket is so practical that every store carries them!
Instead of buying it, I suggest you sew it!
To follow this tutorial, you will need the PDF pattern, which you can download by clicking here or which you can find on the CoutureEnfant Facebook group, in the “Files” tab.
Sewing equipment:
- 1 rectangle of fabric, preferably fairly thick, such as tarpaulin, gabardine or cotton twill, H45 x W40 cm.
- For the lining, 1 rectangle of the same dimensions in a fairly thick fabric.
- 2 rectangles of fusible fleece, always the same size.
And, of course, you’ll need your usual sewing equipment!
By the way, in the video tutorial I’m using the Brother FS40s sewing machine, a full review of which can be found here.
